Fitch Ratings Affirms Wheels' Ratings; Outlook Stable

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Fitch Ratings affirms Wheels Inc.'s (Wheels) ratings. The Rating Outlook is Stable. See a complete list of affected ratings at the end of this release.

Wheels' ratings center on consistent operating performance through many economic environments, historically strong asset quality, minimal credit losses, and solid risk adjusted capitalization. Rating concerns include Wheels' internal capital formation, reliance on asset securitization to fund the business and competition within the fleet leasing business, in which the company bids against competitors with significantly greater financial resources. In addition, in March 2007, a significant change in the fleet industry occurred when General Electric Capital Corp. (GECC) announced it was purchasing the fleet operations of PHH Corp.

Montgomery hopes baseball season is one to build on

Moments after Minersville had defeated Montgomery, 5-2 in Mondays PIAA Class A opening round, Red Raider players walked around their dugout like zombies. This wasnt how they envisioned their season ending, and past accomplishments meant little to them.

So it didnt matter that Montgomery had just completed the best season in program history or that just five days earlier it had captured its first District 4 championship. It didnt matter that Montgomery had matched a school-record with 16 wins and had reached the playoffs for a third straight year.

Montgomery wanted more.

And that speaks volumes about how far this program has come.

A few years ago just making the playoffs would be cause for celebration. Now a program that once was a doormat expects to win championships every year.

Expert Offers Tips To Wisely Using Credit

(CBS4) DENVER Consumer debt in this nation is in the trillions of dollars and too much debt can have a negative effect on jobs, health and personal relationship.Kim McGrigg with Consumer Credit Counseling Services offered some tips about using credit wisely to CBS4 weekend morning anchors Ericka Lewis, Dave Aguilera and Arturo Santiago Sunday. She said a key to not getting in debt is to make sure you are only using credit cards as a tool of convenience. "It should never be used as an extension of your income," McGrigg said. "If you're using credit because you simply cannot afford to pay something now, that's definitely the wrong way to use credit.""The right way to use credit is to say, 'I'd rather not carry cash with me today, so I'd rather use my credit cards.' That's a good use of credit."Another good use of credit is to make a one-time large purchase on credit as long as you have a plan to pay it off in the short term. There is one easy way to know if you are already in over your head on credit, if you can only afford to the minimum payment. That's a red flag you could be over-extended and it's a very costly habit."It will possibly take you years (to pay off the card) and the interest you will pay is just astronomical," said McGrigg.

Mortgage Application Refused - Understanding And Successfully ...

Often, when your lender scrutinizes your loan application for a new home or piece of property so thoroughly that it is finally turned down, it can be very distressing. If this happens, you should be able to understand just why such a decision was taken and do what you can to remedy the situation. The causes for rejection given below will help you understand just why it happens to some people.

Causes for rejection:

There is a term called LTV, and this means that the appraised value of the property you want to purchase is much lower than the purchase price or loan-to-value ratio.Or it may be just the case that the LTV is just too high for the lender to approve. He may be restricted to a certain ratio and there is nothing he can do about it. Maybe you have applied for 90-95% of the buying price as the loan amount.

Dream Home

MOUNT ANGEL — As the new tan house at 445 Marion Court gets its finishing touches — some extra screws for the decking and drying of the crawlspace — Luda Skvortsova gets more and more excited.

“I am already packed," Skvortsova said as she stood in the driveway of her new home.

When Skvortsova moved to the United States eight years ago from her native Russia, she never imagined that she would be the recipient of such kindness — or the owner of a brand new two-bedroom home.

Skvortsova's is the 24th home the North Willamette Valley Habitat for Humanity has built in the area. The house is special for several reasons, as it's also the first home that has been sponsored by a local family.

Sponsoring the American Dream

According to Kim Parker, executive director of North Willamette Valley Habitat for Humanity, Virgil Peters attended a regional training seminar in 2002 at which he heard a pastor speak about how to sponsor a home for Habitat for Humanity.
